2020-2023 Models
The emissions controls and 02 sensor are turned
off in the 500 bikes. The emissions can be removed with no codes or dongles needed.
On the 350, the 02 sensor and evap canister need to
removed and the canister taped up under the gas tank remain plugged in, so codes don't pop up. All of the hoses can be removed and the canister taped up under the gas tank
The street models only have the full power map available and a map switch can not be added. The models that come with a switch, still have use of it. For them, the white map is full power and the green map, is less aggressive.

2024-2026 Models
All models, the EXCF/ XWF / XCF-W / FE/ FE-S / ES and EW, can use a map switch. This is the stock KTM ignition curve switch from the 2025 450 SXF bike. The emissions controls and 02 sensor are turned off in the 500 bikes.
The emissions can be removed with no codes or dongles needed. On the 350, the 02 sensor and evap canister need to remain plugged in, so codes don't pop up. All of the hoses can be removed and the canister taped up under the gas tank.

350 / 500 / 501
Full power and needs 91 octane or better. Best and smoothest for White map (or default if no map switch used). Is good for single track riding, as not as smooth down low. timing is turned down, so you can run 87 octane when traveling. Not everywhere, so you get better mileage when traveling.
The ignition Green map. The adventure map. It's leaner off-road and general riding.
Traction control can be turned on in both maps and keeps wheelspin to a minimum. Quickshift can be turned on, on the 500 / 501 only, but not recommended for off-road use.

450 XCW-F / FE / EW
White map, or default map if no switch is used, is full power and designed for 91 octane or better.
Green map is a little more docile and also good for off-road. Traction control can be turned on in both maps and keeps wheelspin to a minimum. Needs 91 octane or better.
Notes on 2017-26 Bikes
These were the years, where the reeds from the 2 stroke were being placed in the intake tract, between the air filter and throttle body. It was designed to lower intake noise to pass drive by sound tests. This was a horrible idea. Not only did they stifle incoming air (and power) by 30%, but if the reeds break they will destroy your engine.
The reeds MUST come out for our mapping to work and the stock exhaust must be opened up. Either with just our free flowing end cap, or a slip on muffler.

Notes on 2017-26 Bikes
Only the full power map can be used on these years and is designed for premium pump fuel. These bikes had open intake tracts already but had very restrictive exhausts and were very lean. They also had a mechanical air injection valve which causes backfire and needs to be removed or disabled. When the exhaust is opened up on these years and the emissions disabled, these will be your gains with this mapping.
