Dead Ends and installation kit

Along with the Dead Ends, you get the tools needed for a good installation job.  You get the collars, which are key to a good job.  They align where you want to cut, and then adding the second one, keeps the hacksaw blade straight when cutting.
 
You get a good countersink drill bit.  This breaks away the hard anodize and lets the tap start straighter. 
 
Then you get a good high speed steel tap.  If you use a carbon steel tap, the threads won't be as sharp, and there is a chance it will break off in your bar.
