Wossner "A" Piston W/ Cut Intake For 2014-2027 KTM 300

These are genuine Wossner "A" size cast pistons. We sell the A size for the wossners, because they run a little on the tight side, so you'd use an A over a B size, for these.  
 
These are forged pistons and not cast, so even if there is a top end problem, they will just bend and not break and cause more damage.  You can see the Wossner on the left vs a cast piston on the right, in the third pic, after being hit with a hammer
 
We have already pre cut the bottoms of the intake tabs, so it won't hit the crankshaft. 
 
The stock pistons and any piston that isn't cut, for the 23-27 300 TBI bikes, run the risk of the intake side hitting the crank and exploding the top end.
 
All piston we sell, are already cut a little shorter on the intake side , to avoid problems.   
 
It's the stretching and compressing of the crank rod and the rocking of the piston that lets the skirt touch the crank, at the higher RPM's, and it's disaster when it does. The Wossner website is misleading and wrong, when it talks about where the piston was or needs clearance.  
 
It's not a time thing, like waiting for 100 hours of riding and then do it.  It's a mechanical thing and can happen anytime. So cover your ass and change the piston while you can.
