This is a forged piston, so it won't break. It will only bend. This is a custom full race piston and better for high speed running, than the standard Wossner listed for $199.95. This piston hase been sanded down to have a clearence of .003". Run the oil ratio at 40:1 and it's much safer against seizures.
The intake cutout, is also opened up more and clearenced, so there is no crank interference, and it makes the most power.
The hills and valleys from the sanding, just like honing marks would, hold oil and promote smooth running.
You can see from the one pic, that with the lower compression head insert, even after 10 hard 61 hp dyno pulls, the piston looks great. And there is no ring blow by.
